More important than any single article or the multiple layers is a-t-t-i-t-u-d-e. This, I know and try as I might I can't help but feel a little testy. I am cold. I am tired. I am tired of being cold. But I’m sure it will all be over soon. I have to believe this.

On another front, I gloated mentioned to someone about being passed over for the Aunty F’s January visit. Well, lucky ducky me, she arrived this month packed for the long haul. Eight days and counting. But I’m sure it will all be over soon. I have to believe this.

  1. Oh Ratz!
    So sorry to hear this.
I was just remarking to Doris yesterday how much I DON"T miss periods. (We had seen a young girl all bent over with cramps.)

I was in my 50's when I finally got rid of the bitch! (Aunt Flo that is.)

  2. Good luck enduring the final days of winter...at least I hope the final days. Sorry to hear about Aunty F...I hear her knocking but I'm trying to change the locks.

  3. Apparently I was unaware of the the Aunty F terminology (naive?), but sorry to hear of her arrival.

I'm sure to be jinxing myself here, but I haven't had her pleasure since November... shhhhhhhh!

Here's hoping to her NEVER showing back up! I HAVE TO BELIEVE THIS! :)

  4. Oh, I have been there. Not the cold, gfor the south has been balmy this winter, but rather the 8 days thing. Or, the 22-day thing, followed by the three months off, followed (sadly) by the regular as clockwork thing for the last 4 months.

I was SERIOUSLY thinking that it was over. Grrrr....

  5. Layers are the key. That and constant movement.

As for Aunty F, hang in there...

  7. Damn, if Aunt Flo came for that extended a visit I'd be ... grrrrr.

Actually, my fave slang for the visit is "riding the cotton pony", not to be gross ... LOL. Well, OK, I don't mind being juvenile.
