No robins here yet. My first sign will be a patch of visible ground, although we are still under a couple of feet of snow. But it's March and I am ready for the change.
As I recall, robins show up pretty early here--not necessarily bringing Spring on their wings. We're supposed to get near 40 on Wednesday--but there is also a wintry mix in the forecast.
Robins. It'll be a while yet, I think.
ReplyDeleteI think, as well. Still, the burst of color on these gray days, flash of hope springing forward.
Deleteoh my- don't come to my house...we have oodles and oodles of song birds...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning.

Hope is all I have to hang my hat on at this point. Thanks, I'll try.
DeleteI'm not a fan of more than one or two birds at a time either.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't always this way and not quite sure when it started. But, well, yeah. Comforting to know I am not alone.
DeleteMeanwhile, in Illinois...
ReplyDelete. . the coldest Februrary 28th of record. I think I read in my minus 2 stupor this morning.
DeleteI love to see birds...and to also hear them singing at my windows in the morning!
ReplyDeleteI am ready for spring-time and flowers ....and birdies!
Happy Saturday!

I like to hear them singing too; a quartet over a symphony though.
DeleteFlowers . . ahh, flowers.
