I think (I'm sure) I could like it more if there was a getaway snuck in the middle of it. :-)
I do like Hot chocolate. And Cozy sweaters. And especially soup. And after 50+ years, have perfected "layering".
I don't think it is so much I don't like winter (it is mostly the "dangersouly cold" that makes me blue) over missing activities of the spring and summer and being *able* to be outdoors to just . . . be.
Not soon enough for me, I'm afraid....
ReplyDeleteVery wishful thinking in the midst of a 20 degree day.
DeleteCome visit when I move and it can be now. :)
ReplyDeleteEvery fiber in my being wishing it was within the realm of possibility. :-)
Deletesimple things in life are priceless
ReplyDeleteIndeed.

Spring will come, and summer, but in the meantime it's the season of hunkering down. Which wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have to go to work!
ReplyDeleteWe'll make it, D, we'll make it.
Yes, it is the going to work . . hard to get a good hunker down on when 5 am rolls so soon six out of seven days.
DeleteThe power of positive thinking, attitude. We WILL make it!!
best of luck.
