Game Faces


The Boys decided to keep me company while I watch one of the three World Series games our Cubbies played over the weekend. You may not be able to tell but they are simply overcome with the excitement of it all.

Seriously.

They are.

I'm not a big baseball fan. But it is hard to sit idly by while the city is so pumped.  Rooting for the home team.

    Obviously they are Yankees fans. And if the Yankees are not in it, then the Series does not exist.

    Go Cubs! (I generally pick by the uniform. So I like the Seahawks and the Ravens. I am vaguely aware that that is football. Are there any bird teams in baseball? See? Hopeless.)

    As I read this, the radio station I'm listening to (our equivalent of NPR) was just talking about this. Actually, what they said was "we didn't know about this until our US correspondent who is a bit Cubs fan mentioned it." So now I have a personal link to it. Glad the cats are excited too!
