Seventy - Six

My mom would have been 76 today. Of all the posts
celebrating her birthday since she died, the first
one said what I need most today.

  1. I am thankful for the opportunity to go back and read an earlier post. Being new to your blog, I have missed a lot. That is a lovely tribute to your mother. When you wrote "She could (and would) talk to anybody" it made me wish I had known her. Great picture, too. What an infectious smile she had.

  2. I love that picture of you and your mom. And the picture at the top of this post. Most of all, I connect deeply with the longing...
Sending you love and strong hugs today, D.

    1. She was big on celebrations and commemorations which make any of the holidays bitter and sweet.
Thanks for the love and hugs. ♥

  3. Your mom had an infectious smile. Its no wonder people loved talking to her. I think I've said this before - I think our moms would have been good friends. Hard working, love of family, care for others, loved to laugh. Even through the painful missing of them, I know we are the lucky ones.

    1. Indeed we are. In the lighter, healthier days, I can hear . . .
